“Tom and I always said we wanted four, but life had other plans,” Kelsey, 34, told the British show. The mirror in an interview published Sunday January 26. “So yes, it’s amazing but also bittersweet. The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, all the while thinking, “My life could have been so different.” I felt every emotion under the sun.
Kelsey was married to Tom, best known as one of the members of the boy band The Wanted, until his death in 2022. Tom, who was 33 at the time, suffered from an inoperable brain tumor. He is survived by Kelsey and their two children: Aurelia, 5, and Bodhi, 4.
After grieving Tom’s death, Kelsey finally found love with arborist Lindsay, 27, last year. They now live together in what was his family home with the late singer.

“Tom and I had a house before, where we had children and got married. We moved into my current house in September 2021, and Tom was only there for eight months, but I “I feel like he chose it for me,” she told the British media. “Will moved in gradually. There was no specific date, but he moved in when it was convenient for all of us. For now, we have no plans to move anywhere else and have made this our home.
Kelsey further called her current pregnancy a “happy accident” and noted that she and Lindsay have yet to find out the sex of the baby.

According to Kelsey, she and Lindsay often discuss Tom at home. Daughter Aurelia even coined the name “Parker” in homage to her father.

“For me, it feels like everything is meant to be. I’m just trying to find joy,” Kelsey said. “I love my children – they have helped me through the worst times. So I feel like I was lucky to have another one. If I dwelled on everything that happened, I wouldn’t be here. Tom was my soul mate. I’m still angry that he left. But I can’t live in sadness. Tom wouldn’t want that.
Kelsey also informed Tom’s mother, Noreneabout her pregnancy news.
“Tom’s mom immediately gave me her blessing,” Kelsey added. “She can’t wait to have another grandchild.” All I care about is that our families and Tom’s are happy. Noreen is the most extraordinary woman. After Tom passed away, she said to me, “As long as you’re happy Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.” We have all been through so much together.
