Luton Town have appointed Wycombe Wanderers manager Matt Bloomfield as their new boss to replace Rob Edwards.
Edwards led the Hatters into the Premier League in 2023 but left the role last week after a poor season in the Championship.
Bloomfield, 40, guided Wanderers to second place in League One, losing just four league games all season.
It is time to enter a new era.

Luton sit 20th in the Championship, just two points above the relegation zone. Bloomfield’s first game in charge is at home to Preston on Saturday and he has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Kenilworth Road.
“It’s a real honor and privilege to be here, to be appointed manager of this incredible club. I’m really, really proud,” Bloomfield said.
“The feeling they gave me of being wanted, the research they did on me and the football team we produced at Colchester and Wycombe, and the knowledge base of what I represent , who I am and what we tried to produce in our football team and I understood without hesitation that it was the right decision at the right time.
Wycombe said it was disappointed with Bloomfield’s decision, but added that “the club is fully committed to building on the foundations of this season’s success and implementing our long-term vision for Wycombe Wanderers.”
The League One side face Mansfield on Saturday.
