Jim has been working in the financial services sector for over 25 years and joined Argus in 1993. He was director of research at Argus and member of the investment policies committee. Jim played a decisive role in the construction of argus proprietary assessment models, which are a key element of the Six point rating system of Argus. He also oversees Argus technical analysis products; Writes the portfolio selector report and other publications; And manages several portfolios of argus model. As the main analyst, Jim covers communication equipment, semiconductors, information processing and electronic manufacturing services. He holds a CFA charter and is a triple winner in the survey of all-star analysts of the Wall Street Journal. In July 2010, McGraw-Hill Professional published Jim’s book, “Equity Valuation for Analysts & Investors”. The book, a single volume processing of the financial modeling and evaluation process, introduces the argus proprietary valuation methodology known as peer derived value.
