Costco opens nine new warehouse stores this year worldwide, with six beginner operations in the United States in the coming weeks.
According to an ad on the company’s website, stores should open in Brentwood, California; Highland, California; Prosper, Texas; Weatherford, Texas; County of Genesee, Michigan; And Sharon, Massachusetts, in March 2025.
Stuart, in Florida, will get his own store the following month, as are the Alps of Minami in Japan.

“We continue to project 29 openings during fiscal year 25, three of which will be relocations and 26 new net buildings,” said CEO and president of Costco, Ron Vachris, during a call for results of December 2024. “Ten of these warehouses will be outside the United States”

The retailer currently operates 897 warehouses worldwide.
“We see great opportunities in Canada and Mexico have been strong countries for us. We also continue to see growth opportunities in Europe and Asia,” said Vachris when calling on December 2024.
