The dispute in the course of a brand between the Macrotech developers, led by Abhishek Lodha, and Abhinandan Lodha’s room (Hoabl), led by Abhinandan Lodha, intensified. Macrotech accused Hoabl of having committed a counterfeit and the creation of false documents in order to take advantage of the “Lodha” brand.
In a recent regulatory disclosure at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 2, the Macrotech promoters said that the entities linked to Hoabl had used resolutions of the counterfeiting board of directors and a PAN card manufactured to obtain the approval of the evolution of the names of the companies to include “ Lodha ”.
The company said that no meeting of the board of directors of this type had taken place and said that the resolutions had not been deliberate or approved by its administrators.
“No meeting of the board of directors of the company was held on the date indicated in these BR and the board of directors of the company has never examined or approved these BRs during its meetings,” he added.
In response, Lodha Ventures, in a press release, said: “This refers to a file today by Macrotech Developers Limited with the scholarships. We examine the question internally and will come back with our detailed answer. It is enough to declare that the room of Abhinandan Lodha does not admit any of the allegations of fraud and counterpart to assign us.”
In January, the Macrotech promoters initiated legal action against Hoabl before the High Court of Bombay for brands violation. The pursuit requires an injunction, damage and other appropriate remedies.
Macrotech developers, renowned for the sale of properties under the “Lodha” brand, is a leading player in the real estate industry. On the other hand, Hoabl specializes in the development of residential plots in various major cities.
The alleged counterfeit resolutions contained a “objection” declaration of Macrotech, wrongly granting permission to Hoabl entities to use the “Lodha” brand. It has also been noted that the signing of an independent administrator on these documents was forged, as confirmed by the director, discovering that the signature and a copy of their PAN card included in the request were fraudulent.
Alternatively, at least two companies associated with Hoabl have changed their recorded names to integrate “Lodha” following the submission of these forged documents.
In response to these allegations, the Macrotech Board trained a special committee of administrators to conduct an in -depth investigation and continue a legal appeal. It should be noted that Abhishek Lodha apologized to the committee to ensure a impartial examination of the issue.
