Besieged rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs underwent a setback in his attempt to prove his innocence after one of his lawyers left his legal team with a mysterious declaration.
Diddy’s lawyer Anthony Ricco filed a request for the lawyer on Friday, although his actions will not delay the current trial calendar.
The backtrack comes in the midst of a recent legal victory for Diddy after one of his accusers voluntarily withdrawn his file against him and Jay-Z.

Rico has submitted a request for the lawyer in New York, declaring that he would in no way continue his services in Diddy.
According to the documents obtained by The mirror usRicco said: “In no case can I continue to serve effectively as a advice to Sean Combs.”
The documents also said that Ricco had discussions with Diddy’s main lawyer Mark Agnifilo, before submitting the request.
The point of sale also indicated that Ricco refused to provide details to support the request and said that its decision to resign would not affect the current trial calendar, which will start on May 5.
