At the president’s first meeting of President Trump, Doge, Elon Musk, warned against hot air balloon debt and billions of deficits.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared on Wednesday at the first meeting of President Donald Trump to discuss his waste reduction efforts with the Ministry of Government Department (DOGE).
During the meeting, Musk targeted what he described as 2 dollars with deficits, declaring that America “simply cannot support” this amount of debt. On Wednesday, the American national debt climbed to $ 36,220,749,649,855.42.
“The interest in the national debt now goes beyond the expenses of the Ministry of Defense,” said Musk. “We spend a lot on the Ministry of Defense, but we spend 1 billion of dollars in interest.”
“If this continues, the country will go, will become de facto in bankruptcy.”

Musk then described Doge as “not an optional thing” and argued that it was “central” to reform the American economy.
“This is the reason why I am here,” said the technological billionaire. “And take a lot of flack, and get a lot of death threats, by the way.”
“But if we don’t do that, America will go bankrupt,” continued Musk. “This is why it must be done. I am convinced at this stage, hit the woods … that we can really find savings of $ 1 Billion. It would be about 15% of the budget of 7 billions of dollars. And obviously, it can only be done with the support of everyone in this room. And I would like to thank everyone for support.”

Musk’s recent remarks arise while DOGE continues to identify and reduce government waste for the expected benefits of taxpayers. During the meeting of Wednesday’s firm, Musk admitted that Dogi had also made mistakes, in particular in accidental annulment of the US Development (USAID) Prevention Program (USAID).

“I think we all want Ebola prevention, so we restored the prevention of Ebola, and there was no interruption,” said Musk. “We will not be perfect. But when we make mistakes, we will repair it very quickly.”
