Roy Keane furiously labeled Manchester United players as “impostors” and was strongly critical of Captain Bruno Fernandes during an explosive row with Ian Wright.
International Portugal is considered to be United’s best success in the recent transfer market after having become a key player throughout its five years with the club, becoming captain in July 2023.
Ruben Amorim praised the 30-year-old as a “special player” for his main role in the 3-2 victory on Wednesday on Ipswich, days after inspired his team when they came from two to shoot 2-2 with Everton.
But that is not enough for the seventh time winner of the Premier League and former skipper of the Red Devils, who qualified the 15th “impostors” team and was angry by the suggestions of the Co-Star Ian Wright that Fernandes does not deserve the blame for their precarious position.
Keane said over overlapping: “They draw in Everton, it’s as if they had won the cup. It’s F ****** Weird!
“The level of fans, I see fans singing for Bruno. I see these boys, and I think they are F ******* impostors.
“Save us?” Are they 15th in the league and save them? Rent the Lord
“You must have a starting point. I come back to all this – Talent is not enough. Bruno is a talented player, but talent is not enough. “”
The attempts of the former Arsenal Star Wright to defend Fernandes enraged Keane, who added: “You speak to me [about] With whom you were in a wardrobe. “Tony Adams was this”, “Tony Adams was that”. Yeah, because he was a fighter. Bruno is not a fighter.
“You have young players. You have to look at someone and go “I like what they are doing”.
“They can’t all put the ball at the top of the net 25 meters, I understand this. But you want someone who goes “guy, are you with me?” »»
“Talent is not enough to play for a big club!” 😡

Wright said that “if Bruno is not there, United is in relegation places” and that temperatures increased while Keane returned to former Arsenal Captain Adams.
When Wright said it was the skipper he was used to, Keane shouted: “Yeah, yes, of course. This is what the captain we expect!
“Was Tony Adams the most talented player of this Arsenal wardrobe?” So why are you looking at Tony Adams and you go, listen, I have a lot of time for him “?
“And what did he do with his leadership?” Leadership is an action. Leadership for me concerns action. »»
