Gabby Thomas had an incredible year in 2024, winning three Olympic gold medals. Now, while she is preparing for the new season, the American has made a surprising revelation when she was talking about the places of the Grand Colem track by Michael Johnson.
Johnson, very considered to be one of the biggest sprinters of all time, launched the TPS last year, a unique league. The League will featured four games, the first competition taking place in Kingston, Jamaica, followed by meetings in Los Angeles, Miami and Philadelphia.
Gabby Thomas signed with the Grand Colem at the end of last year and recently classified the locations of the League. In an Instagram video, she revealed that she was very excited to compete in Jamaica, having never run there before.
“I am very excited for Kingston. I am really excited. I have never participated in Jamaica before.
She then classified the other three locations, saying,
“(Second) Miami, because I like Miami. (Then) Philly, because I like Franklin Field, it’s close and dear to my heart, that’s where I ran to university, then we have it. The is cool.
Gabby Thomas to join the Grand Chelem Track

Gabby Thomas signed with Michael Johnson’s Grand Chelem piece in November 2024. The American clearly explained her enthusiasm in the League thanks to a press release, highlighting her enthusiasm to compete with the best sprinters.
“I am so excited to join the Grand Colam Track and to associate myself with Michael Johnson to give our sport the platform it deserves. Leaving the Olympic Games, I want to continue to test myself and compete with the highest level against the fastest women in the world. The piece of the Grand Chelem allows us this chance in 2025. ”
Thomas then praised Johnson’s vision, saying,
“Michael’s vision is incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to give millions of track fans in the world even more likely to watch us compete. I can’t wait to see all our fans at the Four Slams next year. »»
Thomas will probably participate in the group of Sprints Short Sprints à la TPS events, which will include the 100m and 200m races. Apart from Gabby Thomas, other stars that signed with the Grand Chelem piece include Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Fred Kerley, Kenny Bednarek, Hocker Cole, and more.
The first meeting of the Grand Chelem track should take place between April 4 and 6 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock, with an available broadcast on the CW.
