Cassie’s Lawyer Slams Diddy’s Claims That Her Assault Video Was Altered

The lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, criticized the allegations, adding that the video “fairly and precisely” represents the assault incident.

The complaints of Diddy’s lawyers were presented in a joint letter on evidence in his federal case, in which the rapper faces accusations of sexual traffic, racketeering and transport to engage in prostitution.

Months earlier, Diddy’s lawyers also advanced a similar argument on the modification of the Cassie assault video.

At the time, he allegedly alleged that federal prosecutors had presented a version published by a viral video to negatively influence his deposit audience.

According to the rapper’s complaint, the modified images exaggerated the perceived threat of Diddy, describing him as more dangerous rather than forming the incident as a domestic dispute.
