The boss of the Nottingham forest, Nuno Espirito Santo, said that the FA Cup is “a competition we love” after his team entered the last eight with a shootout victory over Ipswich at City Ground.
The legend of the Brian Cloud forest has not been able to win the famous trophy of its fate – losing the 1991 final against Tottenham – and it’s 66 years since their last victory.
The head of Ryan Yates obtained a 1-1 draw which forced a shooting, and the goalkeeper Matz Salts was the hero when he saved Jack Taylor’s effort.
SPiant at ITV, Nuno said: “The players did their job very well. We have contributed.
“The first half was flat for both teams. I am really happy that the boys have reached him and our fans are happy tonight.
“Now it’s the match per match. We have Manchester City in the league, then we can focus on the FA Cup. It is a competition that we love and we will do our best. »»

The goalkeeper Salts plunged to his left to prevent Taylor after nine immaculate penalties, and said that his team was looking forward to progressing even more.
He said, “I am happy to be able to help the team in the next round. It was the only penalty for which I was in the right corner. Before the game, you study the penalties and I took the bad corner, but it was true. I am happy for the team.
“The match was not so good. In the end, the additional time is a bet, you don’t want to play too much. In the penalties, one of the goalkeepers will be the hero. I am happy and I look forward to the weekend now.
“We know what to do. The FA Cup is really nice. A few games and you can be in the final. »»
