The quadruple winner of the FA Cup, Roy Keane, was not impressed by the top scorer of Manchester City, Erling Haaland, smiling after the top scorer of the visitors pushed several opportunities before his team was delayed in Bournemouth in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.
Haaland sent a free head, saved a penalty and lifted a head-to-head opportunity on the transverse bar before Bournemouth took a 21st minute lead via Evanilson in pursuit of a semi-final against the Nottingham forest.
Keane had urged the municipal director Pep Guardiola to impregnate his players with more intensity for the second half, and the words of Manchester United legend seemed to have an effect while Haaland struck an equalizer four minutes after restarting.

“He was missing from membership,” Keane told ITV Sport at the break, adding that he “did not want” 24 years when he intensified to hit his kick.
“He smiled after missing the second [chance]. The city walks around the place – it annoys me. They have no conviction, no physics. This is not a good sign.

Bournemouth vs Man City: Haaland “should mark”
Haaland had a chance of gold to score his 30th goal in all competitions in 2024/25 when Tyler Adams was penalized for handball inside the Bournemouth box, only for goalkeeper Kepa to guess properly to his left and to ensure that the Talisman Norway has missed three of his seven penalties this season.
There were tunes mocking fans of the house when Haaland clearly broke out inside the penalty surface on the left channel shortly after and raised its finish beyond the advanced Kepa and above the transverse bar.

“I must say, a free 12 -meter shot is probably the simplest chance you have to have,” the former English defender Lee Dixon told the broadcaster, suggesting that Haaland could have been “a little anxious”.
“For him, it’s on a plate. He puts too much. If you look at him again, there is a very small bobble on it just as he strikes him. But he should mark.”

Erling Haaland penalty “not great”
“Kepa read it well,” said Keane, who won the competition in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2004 With United, discussing the penalty. “It’s not a big strike – it’s not in a corner.
“They must bring more intensity – it is the quarter -final of the cup. Bournemouth has nothing to do with fantastic, just sit down and take them.”
