Overview of the Rennes VS PSG match
The manager of Rennes, Habib Beye, had sympathy for Paris St-Germain after the Luis Enrique team dominated almost all along, but lost 1-0 at home against Liverpool during his disabled Champions League of 16 on Wednesday.
“Football is sometimes cruel because PSG’s performances have been accomplished,” said Beye, who won four of his five games since he took care of January 30 and now sat down against Ligue 1 leaders on Saturday.
“We will have in trouble and we also work to put them in difficulty. We are not going to play the victim; We know what a team PSG are and, from there, we capiturate where we [compete] With our tall heads and ambitions, the desire to get up.
“We have worked to use the ball knowing that we will have less, on the aspect of duty [deal with] head-to-face. It is not a bonus match, it is not [a case of] “We have nothing to lose”.

“There will be 95 minutes of challenge that will be imposed on us – a great super exciting challenge, it is a match in our trip that we must win, we must give ourselves the means to do it, with the personality, the players who believe in themselves.”
With the return game in Liverpool on Tuesday (8 p.m. GMT), Luis Enrique inevitably faced questions about how PSG can be targeted.
“Rennes is still a difficult stadium,” he said. “I have no doubt that it is a good stimulus for them to fight. There is no easy correspondence when you wear the PSG jersey.
While PSG is undefeated in the league and 13 points away at the top, Rennes, 11th, is 10 points among the first six and nine above the relegation zone with 10 games to play.
