Sharing an overview of the best non -toxic air fries.
Hi friends! Happy Monday and Happy Feast of Saint-Patrick! What do you have? P has spring holidays, girls have their usual activities and we head to San Diego later this week. I.Can’t.wait.
For today’s post, I wanted to discuss a little non -toxic air fries and share the one I use and loved for a few months. Before sharing a few options, I wanted to tell you about our original air fryer that I obtained a few years ago.
When I had an air fryer, I was pumped. I knew it would be like the instant pot; Something that intimidated me, but that I would end up using every day.
Before using it for the first time, I read online that it was important to wash it with soap and water and let it work for a few hours to get rid of the chemical smell. It should have been a red flag, but I did it. I washed it well and let it work for a few hours while we were at home. Our house was immediately infused with a plastic odor, and I had to open the back door to ventilate our house. After a few hours, I made a situation of sausage, potato, pepper and onion. Everything was beautifully cooked – he was crisp on the outside and soft inside.
We ate most of our meals, called it one night … and the girls and I were violently sick all night. I have not been as sick since I was a child … It was bad. We thought it was food, but looking back, it was definitely the air fryer.
As we thought it was only a bad night of food, I used it again a few weeks later, and everything was fine. I have probably used hundreds of times after that.
(Resting in power)
Whenever I took it out, it crossed my mind that the non -stick coating was probably not the healthiest, but as a person who has to get food on the table quickly (like all moms), I was like something else. When I made my big healthy trip, I made more changes to the house and get a new air fryer was one of the last things on the list.
The best non -toxic air fries
I looked at the online options, and here are some of the best I found:
Emeril Lagasse Extra Large FRENCH DOOR AIR AIR FRYER GAIN FOURS Combo
This is enormous, has a stainless steel finish and excellent criticism.
This glass air fryer
This is also on the smallest size, But has good criticisms and more from the classic “Air Fryer” design with a large unique handle.
Our place wonders oven
This one is the prettiest and has decent criticism. I heard that people had difficulty extinguishing it and adjusting the temperature. It is also a bit of the smallest.
Gourmia XL Digital Air Fryer Gain Gain-Goaster with French doors in Pulle
Here is what we ended up using, because the pilot won him at the Christmas group’s Christmas party. (PS The prices of these things are ridiculous: traeger grills, playstation, kindle, iPads, bluetooth speakers, tons of good things.)
The verdict: I am obsessed with this thing. It is so much larger than our old air fryer, cooked perfectly – salmon, chicken, potatoes, roasted vegetables, etc. – And no plastic, no chemical coatings.
Why should you avoid traditional non-stick coating?
Non -stick kitchen utensils, often covered with chemicals such as perfluoroalkyle and polyfluoroalkyle (PFAS) substances may present significant health risks, especially for hormonal balance. These “chemicals forever” can lix in food, especially when kitchen utensils are scratched or exposed to high heat.
Research links exposure to PFAS to endocrine disruption, This means that they interfere with the regulation of hormones, potentially affecting thyroid function, metabolism, reproductive health and even the increase in the risk of certain cancers. These chemicals also accumulate in the body over time, which makes it crucial to opt for safer alternatives such as stainless steel, melting or ceramic coated kitchen to protect your health and hormonal balance.
So tell me, friends: do you use an air fryer? What is your most popular kitchen device?
