Soulja Boy applauds online for Crypto Ball performance
When excerpts from Soulja Boy perform During the Crypto Ball in Washington on social media, the internet wasted no time calling it a sellout. But in a video shared by LiveBitezSoulja clapped back, explaining why he took the stage.
Soulja, being Soulja, spent his money on camera while saying that Vice President Kamala Harris and Barack Obama didn’t call him or offer to put money in his pockets, but Trump did. The “Crank That” rapper also claimed the event wasn’t even for Trump, and he didn’t show up.
“Y’all want me to not answer the phone instead of the president, he’s the president of the m*****f*****g of the United States. Trump wasn’t even there. It was the Crypto Ball for crypto n****s,” Soulja said.
Additionally, Soulja made it known that he didn’t care if people tried to cancel him to perform at the event. He even mentioned that he would do it again if he could. “I don’t care what no one talks about. I’m going to do whatever I want to do. And I will go back.
Soulja Boy remains realistic about bag safety
In another LiveBitez clip, Soulja said he felt like the crypto team and Trump were trying to play him, but he kept it real and admitted he was only half bothered.
“But I don’t care 50/50. Halfway through I was like Man, fucking Trump. I don’t fuck with him and halfway through it was like he was the president. But whatever, man, I don’t care.
He remained realistic, saying he went on stage because he had bills to pay.
“I’m going to keep him gangster, it was 50/50. Half of me was like I don’t know and then the other half was like I need this bag so it is what it is. If you’re crazy, I understand. But hey, I needed the money, man. I’m not going to lie. I needed that bag, man,” Soulja said with a laugh.
