Thomas Tuchel is preparing to appoint his first team in England this month while the three Lions start their trip to the 2026 World Cup.
During his interim mandate, Lee Carsley presented eight new faces to the team, but no more fresh talents are expected under the direction of Tuchel.
Since he officially took over from Gareth Southgate in January, the former Boss of Chelsea attended several Premier League games, closely assessing potential calls.
England has been trained in group K for the qualification of the World Cup, where they will face Serbia, Andorra, Albania and Latvia.
The campaign starts this month, and Tuchel has already started handing the players in preparation for the next lights.
Contacts of the first players and key absences
Some players have confirmed that they had already spoken with the 51 -year -old coach, including Noni Madueke from Chelsea and James Maddison from Tottenham.
Tuchel also admitted to having contacted the defender of Arsenal Ben White, who has remained far from the configuration of England since 2022.
However, Lewis Hall of Newcastle is a name that will certainly be absent because it has been excluded for the season due to an injury.

What does the head of the FA Mark Bulingham say?
Mark Bullingham, Managing Director of the Football Association, congratulated Tuchel’s dedication to his new role, noting a key difference compared to his predecessor, Gareth Southgate – the German director has chosen to settle in London and is a frequent presence in St George Park.
“I think Thomas realized very early that you do not build these connections in the six days you come together, so he made a lot of efforts in there,” said Bullingham.
Tuchel was proactive in establishing his team relations, creating a long list of 55 players – including national and international stars – ensuring that they feel recognized and appreciated.
“I think he’s 55 on this long list and ensures that he has a strong link with them, that they know that he saw them. They are not only the players of England, they are also the players abroad, and I think it will not remain in the long term, “added Bullingham.
The former boss of Chelsea not only maintained frequent contacts with players by telephone calls, but also traveled to meet key international personalities like Harry Kane, Kyle Walker and Jude Bellingham in person.
Could Tuchel remain beyond his contract?
Bullingham has also recognized the cultural consciousness and the adaptability of Tuchel, similar to Southgate. Although the director has signed an 18 -month contract, there is speculation to find out if he could stay longer. However, Tuchel remains cautious by long -term commitments.
“I think he has always said,” I may be here for 10 years, but I will only effectively inspire myself in two-year cycles “. And the reason is that he just wants his only objective to be on the next tournament and that he is really resolved with the players on this subject, but it is very early to judge, but I can say that he has already had a brilliant impact, so we are very satisfied with him, “said Bullingham.
Despite the short time in charge, Tuchel has already left a strong impression on the FA and its squad.
