Unai Emery thinks that Aston Villa knows his “best time” after a convincing 4-1 victory against his colleagues hunters of the Premier League Top-Five Newcastle on Saturday.
Ollie Watkins scored after 33 seconds to give the hosts the advance at Villa Park and, in doing so, draw with Gabriel Agbonlahor as a record scorer of the Club in the Premier League.
Watkins then hit the woodwork twice before Fabian Schar ranks for Newcastle, who entered the match in the back of a six -game round.
But this race was to end here while three goals without response in the second half of Ian Maathsen, Amadou Onana and a goal from Dan Burn gave Villa a declaration of declaration in their thrust for another football season of the Champions League in the next quarter.
The result also extends the impressive record of Villa at home to 19 competitive games without defeat.

“We were focused in this match,” Emery told Sky Sports.
“I was completely satisfied with the way we responded. We cannot waste time. We are now in our best time. ”
In an post-match interview, Watkins admitted that he would “smoke” after being excluded from the starting alignment during the victory of the 3-2 Champions League against PSG in the middle of the week, but Emery was full of praise for his attacker.
“He played fantastic. His commitment is always high and it is the competitiveness we want,” said Emery.

Villa is then in action against another competitor for a finish among the first five at Manchester City from Pep Guardiola.
Emery’s side goes to Etihad Tuesday evening before taking Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-finals in Wembley on Saturday.
Before the mid -week trip to City, the boss of the villa said: “Manchester City, they behave fantastic. They are not as consistent as before, but they are always suitors in the top five.
“It’s a challenge and we feel strong and we are looking forward to it. But it will be very difficult, but this is the challenge we want. ”
