Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won an exciting 12 -point victory Mumbai Indians (Mi) In a 2025 IPL score competition at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Despite a valiant effort by Suryakumar Yadav and Hhelik Pandya, MI failed in their pursuit of 204.
LSG publishes a competitive total
Asked to beat first, LSG went up on a powerful departure from Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram. Marsh shot 60 out of 31 balls, breaking nine four and two, while Markram contributed 53 out of 38 with four six. Their 91 -point stand set the tone for a large total.
Average contributions from Ayush Badoni (30 out of 19) and David Miller (27 out of 14) Helped the LSG after 203/8 despite the Hardya of Hardya de Mumbai who wreaks havoc with the ballclaiming an impressive 5/36 in its four overs. Trent Boult, Ashwani Kumar and Vignesh Puthur each bypassed with a counter, but LSG strikers maintained the dashboard.
Mi flickering in pursuit despite the Sury-Hardik effort
Chasing 204, Mumbai suffered early while the openers Will Jacks (5) and Ryan Rickelton (10) left at a lower cost. However, Naman Dhir played an explosive 46 out of 24 bullets, breaking four four and three, to keep hunting.
Suryakumar Yadav Then anchored the sleeves with a brilliant 67 out of 43, striking nine limits and six. But with counters falling around him, the pressure rose. Pandya, known for her final prowess, tried to go over the line with a quick 28 out of 16, but he failed to bring his team to the finish line.
The disciplined bowling attack of LSG, led by Digvesth Singh (1/21), Avesh Khan (1/40), Shardul Thakur (1/40) and Akash Deep (1/46), kept Mi in check, finally restricting them at 191/5 in their 20 Overs.
