Eddie Howe congratulated Newcastle for his 4-3 victory against Nottingham Forest, but urged his team to better manage games in the future.
A rampant first half screen saw Toon’s race in an advance of 4-1 with four goals in 13 minutes, but they could not match the intensity of the first half when they have retained a return by visitors in the second nervous period.
The goals of Nikola Milenkovic and Ryan Yates for Forest had reduced what looked like an unassailable advance and made the conclusion of the game much more uncomfortable than it should have been.
And although Howe is delighted to obtain an important victory that takes them to Manchester City level in fourth position, he said that his team should continue to improve.
He told Sky Sports: “Great to win. You have to remember this at the end. Crazy game, but that’s why we love it, I suppose.
“Two sides of us. The first half was excellent. An excellent lower response. The second half was really bad. We had trouble seizing ourselves with the momentum when he turned against us.
“To our best, we are freely flowing, a dynamic attack team. You saw the best of us in the first half.
But on their dull display after the break, Howe Adde: “My brain goes to the second half. We were not perfect. The defense of sets and crossings in the box, we have generally been quite good over the years. During an instant reaction, that’s what I’m going to say.
“A very good performance by Lewis [Miley]. He finished his goal very well. He can be really happy, he develops very well.
“It is a feeling that we must remember. We have the impression that we lost the match, but we won the match and got points on Nottingham Forest. »»

Nuno satisfied with the forest reaction
The opposing manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, has chosen to remain positive despite their third defeat in four Premier League games and said that their fight in the second half can be positive before running as they seek to S ‘ Hang in their place in the Champions League.
He told the BBC: “The first half of Newcastle was better. Second half, we better. And the objectives have proven it. There is no explanation [to the first half] We have to wait and see.
“It was a big gap to try to recover. The reaction was very good. We have given everything and we have created a lot of chance against Newcastle and think we could win the match.
“The reaction was good, I think the team was more recognizable. We have played well and were positive in the future. I liked it the most.
“I want it to be 10 minutes [added on] get [the equaliser]. We were in a good time.
