The Guinea of 2000 French women are on the agenda of the Ridari formed by the Mikel Delzangles after having dived quickly and late to claim the three honors group at the Prix de Fontainebleau.
Winner in his second and last juvenile departure in Chantilly in November, Culcill Colt faced a class increase in his three years, but intelligently accelerated for Mickael Barzalona to get up and beat Sahlan with a nose.
Delzangles said: “I am very happy because he is not an easy horse – he can be very passionate. The jockey gets heard really well with him and gave him a very good preparation race.
“We know how he behaves, but he is able to face this and even if he was a little passionate, he managed to break and accelerate.
“It’s a good lesson and a good preparation race for the big one in four weeks.”
Barzalona made a three triple group on the map and one in total to four passers -by by directing Uther to Victory by Christophe Ferland at the Noailles Prize.
Ferland said: “It is very good to win today. The horse was in good shape, but he will progress and it is a very beautiful horse of a beautiful family.
“The horse will easily make a mile and a half.”
