John Cena only started his reign as undisputed WWE champion, and fans are already speculating on the various names against which he could defend his title. However, the NXT Oba Femi champion almost confirmed that he is unlikely to cross with CENA during her retirement tour, who culminates by the end of 2025.
The leader of the Cenation won his 17th world WWE record title by ending more than a reign of Cody Rhodes in Wrestlemania 41. On a recent episode of his Tale with Dutch mantle The podcast, the WWE veteran, explained that the disappointing reception in the match of Cena and Rhodes in ‘Mania was probably due to the fact that the fans were disinterested in the quarrel.
Dutch Mantell believes that the unexplained absence of the rock has made viewers get lost.
“It is almost as if they saw two guys that they do not want to see in this main event because I think they both have their fans, and Cena, it’s almost as if you were going to look at something but you have this illusion in your mind, that’s how it was going to finish because they knew Cena was going to win.”
The rock had lined up with John Cena at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. However, it did not appear once after the event, leaving the fans perplexed.
