The management team of Pulse Finance completed a management repurchase (MBO), returning the supplier of working funds based in Hampshire to the independent property.
Managing Director Toni Dare and the sales and marketing director Martin Bennison managed the transaction, acquiring the company of his previous parent with the financial support of Arena Investors LP.
The acquisition includes a brand refreshment and a renewed accent on the expansion of the suite of pulse finance financing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the United Kingdom.
Pulse was founded in 2008 by Dare, which remained in post after the company was sold to a third party in 2019. The new MBO sees Dare find the property alongside Bennison, the two leaders aimed at relying on the recent growth of the invoice and commercial financing company.
Commenting on the transaction, Dare said that the company was entering a new phase with the support of a committed financing partner and a strategy to invest in talents and services. “From the point of view of our customers and introducers, it’s as usual,” she said.
The advisers of the agreement included Noel Ruddy and Dawn Shadwell of Cripps, and Mark Lucas and Calvin Bond of Quantuma.
Impulse financing said he had increased an increased demand for flexible financing solutions in the context of continuous macroeconomic uncertainty, with an increase in interest rates, inflation and employment costs exerting pressure on SMEs. The company intends to use its new property structure to develop operations and increase market scope.
Bennison said that the company is well positioned to support SME customers with tailor -made financing packages. “We have acquired the reputation of helping when others cannot, focusing on the quality of the debt to provide solutions that meet business leading needs,” he said. “Our objective is to allow more companies to access funding to support growth in a difficult economic climate.”
