Saquon Barkley won a super bowl with the Eagles of Philadelphia, but his past with the Giants of New York remains a subject of discussion – even for the President of the United States.
The Eagles were in the White House on Monday afternoon to visit President Donald Trump to celebrate their super Bowl Lix victory.
Barkley and Trump had dragged together before the ceremony because they were spotted on Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, before returning to Washington together on Air Force.

During Trump’s speech on the Eagles, he could not help remember a conversation he said to have had with the coaches of Giants before Barkley made the decision to go to Philadelphia in the Free Agency.

Barkley seemed to react with a laugh directly behind Trump as he mentioned the Giants.

Barkley had to defend his time with Trump after being ridiculed by many on social networks.

Before the white house ceremony, Barkley posted on X.
“Lol some people are really upset because I played golf and I took the plane to the White House with the president,” Barkley tweeted on Monday. “Maybe I respect the office, not a concept that is difficult to understand. There is no golf with Obama not so long ago … And I can’t wait to finish my tour with Trump! Now you go out my mentions with all this policy and spend an incredible day.”
