Rivelia has a clever bean exchange system which allows you to unclog a hopper full of beans and exchange in a second, with a minimum of agitation and without a mixture of beans. It works like this: when you turn the bean hopper in unlocking position, Rivelia’s screen will just ask you what you want to do with the excess bet, which amounts to about 5 grams, or half a cut.
You can choose to get a mini-Boisson from excess, or ask the Rivelia to have your little bean problem, invisible view and no question asked. Then simply exchange a hopper coded by color for the other, and here you drink Décafa instead of your morning rocket fuel.
The exchange of beans is a simple and skillful solution to an irritating problem that has obstinate cup bean machines since their creation. This also indicates the reflection of this device as a whole.
Easy and buttoned customization
Exchanging grains is good, but how is coffee? The answer is not easy. Bean machines like rivelia and other models of’longhi such as the Magnifica Evo ($ 650) And Dinamica ($ 1,300)Put as much pressure as a traditional espresso machine. But they also tend to cring a little less finely than the espresso made with a pressure portafilter.
This coarse version makes the cup that results much less capricious and less likely to be too bizarre or deeply acidic, but also less intense. It is a smooth cup, with some of the shaved edges. It is perfect for those who would just like to press a button and be assured of a sparkling cappuccino without looking at the manometers or worrying that they will get a completely blow.

And so Rivelia will not compete with a more difficult and more difficult portafilter machine. But it makes the cups as good as any manufacturer of beans that I tried, partly because of its useful “Bean adaptation” function. The machine can be scheduled with up to six different beans. When you want to add a new Bean, the machine will put it to the test.
