Tottenham midfielder James Maddison will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Maddison suffered the injury during the victory of the Europa League semi-final last Thursday against Bodo / Glimt, after scoring Tottenham’s second goal during the 3-1 victory.
This is a second end of season injury in a week for Spurs, which has also lost the midfielder Lucas Bergvall to an ankle injury given in training.
Duo injuries are a hard blow for Boss Ange Postcoglou spurs before the second stage of Thursday in Norway, and a potential final of the Europa League later this month.
Speaking on the eve of Tottenham’s game with Bodo / Glimt, Postcoglou confirmed that Maddison will no longer play this term.
“Madders refined his knee in the first leg. He came out, the rest of the season will be missing,” said Postcoglou.
“It is disappointing for him more than anything else, because it was a great catalyst for us.

Postcoglou had initially revealed after the 1-1 draw on Sunday in West Ham that Maddison’s injury seemed to be more serious than the first thought.
The Australian said during his post-match press conference: “It doesn’t look great, but we just expect more information, so we will wait and see. We are likely to be clarity tomorrow [on Monday].
“It’s just to say that it doesn’t seem promising, but I will wait and I see.”
Solanke set to be in good shape for the second stage of Bodo / Glimt
However, there were more encouraging news from Postcoglou on Strike Dominic Solanke After the match of the Premier League on Sunday in West Ham.
The English international drink in last week’s home victory over Bodo / Glimt and was excluded from the team for the 1-1 draw at the London stadium.
But Postcoglou played the injury of the 27 -year -old woman and expects him to appear in the second stage of this week in Norway.
The Australian said at his post-match press conference: “Dom improves.
“We left him aside today, but the medical team is quite convinced that he should be good for Thursday.”
If the Spurs exceeds Norwegian champions on Thursday, then a fully English potential final against Manchester United awaits them in Bilbao on May 21.
