Ebelechi Eze scored twice when Crystal Palace warmed up for the FA Cup final next weekend with an extremely impressive victory in Tottenham.
Eze put the Eagles in front of the end of a first half which had seen Palace having two goals which were extinguished by the Var and the midfielder of England doubled their advantage three minutes after the restart.
It was another display of Tottenham unhappy league with the very changed Ange Postcoglou team who failed to rely on the winned momentum by qualifying for the Europa League final in the middle of the week.
If this was not enough at PostCoglou, he also had to face the winger Dejan Kulusvski labois with what seemed a potentially unpleasant injury that could compromise his hopes to play against Manchester United in Bilbao.

Var frustrates the dominant palace
Palace started well and thought they had marked the 10th minute only for the high-reach effort of Ismaila Sarr to be excluded for offside.
The men of Oliver Glasner continued to dominate and only a good backup of the goalkeeper by replacing Antonin Kinsky prevented Jean-Philippe Mateta from opening the score.
Daniel Munoz struck the Spurs mark before the right wing escapes again behind the home defense. He should have fired but rather tried to choose Mateta and luck was lost.
The spurs were everywhere and had to count on the Var to prohibit another effort from the palace, the efforts of Maxence Lacroix judged to be out of Marc Guehi’s arm before he hit the back of the net.

Palace could have been forgiven to feel sorry for themselves but, instead, they caught the goal they deserved so richly on the half-time.
The impressive Munoz went down to the right and his cross was returned by Eze. Var again took a look, but this time, the decision followed the visitors.
Everything Postcoglou said at half-time had not had the desired effect because Palace did 2-0 almost immediately.
A fast counter directed by Eze and Sarr saw the latter return the ball in the attacker midfielder and he was not mistaken with a clear finish.
Tottenham’s attempts to find a way back in the match were shy and Palace almost added a third in injury time, Kinsky sparing well to refuse the former arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
