The new Apple TV + SCI-FI series “Murderbot” features Alexander Skarsgård as a holder cyborg, capable of hacking his system and becoming a thug. Unfortunately, free will does not do much for a slightly overwhelmed security construction whose only desires in life are to watch a bad television and to be left in peace – especially since the self -proclaimed murder understands too well that no one can never discover that he has free will in the first place.

Peace, of course, is not on the cards when you are the character holder of what can prove to be one of the best science fiction programs of Apple TV +. Murderbot quickly becomes the chosen place in a row of a scientific expedition which goes to a mystery planet, which contains more than its share of dangers. This does not help Murderbot that he does not understand or does not fully appreciate humanity … Even less useful is the fact that the group soon discovers its sensitivity, and it must really communicate with them.
The member of the expedition which turns out to be the loss of the anonymity of Murderbot is Gurathin, a melancholy man with his own practical technological talents. Because of its skeptical nature and, let’s face it, basic observation skills, Gurathin becomes almost immediately suspicious of the murder and helps to discover that he became a thug. Naturally, this means that Murderbot and Gurathin do not see each other exactly. In order to match the quirky performances of Skarsgård with a similar nerve energy, the show turned into a real expert in this style of particular actor during the casting Gurathin: David Dastmalchian.

David Dastmalchian can play the clumsy lonely type of perfection
As he said / film in an exclusive interview in 2023, David Dastmalchian saw the dream of the Nerd.
