Doshi’s international career has been a testimony to perseverance. He challenged conventional deadlines, making his debut in the test in 1979 at the age of 32, after years of performances always impressive in the domestic circuit. Despite this late beginning, he dug a significant niche for itself, representing India in 33 tests and 15 internationals from a day until 1983. A master of subtle variations and precision, DOSHI claimed 114 counters in test cricket, including six memorable without securities. His efficiency was particularly pronounced on the floor at home, where he obtained an impressive 100 counters in his first 28 games. One of his most emblematic displays occurred in 1981 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where, fighting through the pain of a fractured toe, he delivered heroic transport to five titles which turned out to be instrumental in the defense successful by a modest total by the total in India.

Doshi’s influence extended far beyond his international appearances. He was a colossal figure in Indian domestic cricket, representing both Bengal and Sarashtra with distinction and Amount 898 remarkable counters in 238 first class games. His talent also saw him enjoying a successful county career in England, adorning the locations of Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire. He was renowned for his unwavering precision and his intelligent flight that he conferred on the ball, winning respect for teammates and adversaries. His integrity and his sporting spirit solidified his reputation as a real gentleman of the game, a heritage that will undoubtedly continue.
Doshi is survived by his wife Kalindi, his son Nayan, who himself pursued a career in first class cricket, and his daughter Vishakha.
