The sale of the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves of the WNBA NBA and Minnesota Lynx to a group led by former MLB star Alex Rodriguez and the electronic business contractor Marc Lore obtained the unanimous approval of the Council of Governors of the NBA, the League announced on Tuesday.
Rodriguez and Lore familiarize themselves with the Timberwolves because they previously had minority issues in the NBA franchise. It is estimated that the sale ends in the coming days at around 1.5 billion dollars, ESPN reported.
