Eighty people, including four crew members, were aboard the CRJ-900 planewhich arrived from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Delta announced Tuesday morning that 19 of the 21 passengers injured in the accident had been released from the hospital. Two passengers are always listed in critical condition. Flint says that Pearson “finished the reunification process for all remaining passengers”.

Flint claims that the crew, the emergency emergencies of the airport and the first stakeholders “set up a response from the manual”, arriving just a few minutes after the accident.
She says that the accident occurred during “an operational recovery day” for the airport, which saw hundreds of flight cancellations this weekend due to strong snowfall. More than 1,000 flights were scheduled for Monday. The flights resumed at airport less than three hours after the accident.
Twenty members of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, who lead the investigation, are currently at the airport and are assisted by members of the National Transportation Safety Board in the United States and the FAA, according to Flint.
Crews with Mitsubishi, which manufactures the CRJ-900, are also on site with a Delta crew during the survey. Flint claims that two tracks will have remained closed for the next 48 hours while the investigators are continuing their work. At this point, the plane will be withdrawn from the scene.
