Hi friends! I hope your morning goes well. I have a long article tomorrow on the creation of a healthy relationship with food, but today I wanted to redo this old but Goodie in honor of the next vacation “All Things Green”.
Not only is it the best cocktail in Saint-Patrick, but it is the best cocktail for any time.
There are not too much “Irish” at home. There is a bit on the side of my great-grandmother, the fact that I used to dance Irish (I had an average sliding size), and I married an Irishman. He introduced me to wonderful things about the culture of his family – they actually have a bar in Ireland that we would like to visit one day! – Including this cocktail. It has a sweetness, a little goes a long way because it is very rich and is absolutely perfect for the next vacation.
We had fairly memorable Saint-Patrick days, as when we visited Savannah and the power came out throughout the city. (I was convinced that they were extraterrestrials or any attack.) But with all those we spent together, my favorite was the night when we stayed at home in Valdosta, watched from films and drunk abundant quantities of this cocktail.
My version is with almond milk, and the pilot is with thick cream or ordinary milk:
[One of these things is not like the others. Also, these are older pics but my go-to almond milk right now is the Malk brand]
As you know, I tend to stay away from dairy products for health / skin / autoimmune reasons. I do not stay away from the Irish cream of Bailey for any reason AAAAA and they now make a version without dairy products which is good enough 😉 I also added dairy products successfully after healing my intestine!
Here is the recipe for my favorite cocktail, which I nicknamed “The Lucky Irish Girl”. Even if I am especially Irish by association, St. Paddy’s is one of my favorite vacation. I hope you enjoy this drink as much as we do!
Lucky Irish girl cocktail
It’s the best cocktail in Saint-Patrick!
- -1 oz baileys
- -1/2 oz kahlua
- -1/2 Oz Frangelico
- -2 milk of choice (thick cream, coconut or almond))
- -Spinach or Green color (optional)
- Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a little ice.
- Shake it!
- Filter, pour and downwards.
Notes
- If you use spinach to color your drink, mix it with the drink.
I mixed mine with a little spinach for a more festive green cocktail, which, unfortunately, does not transform it as if by a healthy elixir (bonus vitamins! Haha). It makes it pretty, although 🙂 You can also use natural food coloring.
For the holidays, you can also make a warm Irish coffee with Irish whiskey, or a photo of Guinness with Bailey – always a classic. Green beer is always a favorite family too.
Acclamations!
What is your favorite cocktail or cocktail recipe for all time? This one is my favorite of all time, and I also like some good blood and these cocktail jumping recipes.
