If you are a big fan of Star Wars, there is a good chance that you have a subscription to Disney + so that you can discover all the contents of a galaxy far, far. Well, almost everything: to date, the house of the mouse has never made the original and non -special versions of the original trilogy available for the physical or digital version with fans. Incredibly, a version of several decades of the original Cup of the first Star Wars film was briefly available in streaming via the Roku cinema application, and the fact that it was deleted without ceremonies proves that Disney has become an empire opposite fans who keep the studio in business.
The controversy in original Star Wars Stars streaming

When we say it was the Star Wars Cut original, we are talking about the version even before the film receives its subtitle, A new hope. This means that the version of the film Cinema Box was broadcast before 1981, when George Lucas named this for the first time Episode IV. This version of the film disappeared when Cinema Box was deleted from Roku, but the fact that it took a free third application to make the non -special version of this emblematic film proves how Disney held the fans when they perform this franchise in the ground.
At this point, some Star Wars fans (especially the youngest) may wonder why it is so important to have the original cuts of these available films, especially since special editions are already available in streaming. One reason, of course, is aesthetics: the subsequent revisions have made each film much uglier … As, it is enough to consult this terrible sequence of CGI music added to the Palais de Jabba. They have also ruined some of the best scenes; For example, George Lucas made sure that Han Solo no longer drew on Greedo first and made Dark Vader said several times while Luke Skywalker was zapped by force Lightning.
The main reason why the original Star Wars cuts should be broadcast on Disney +, however, is that these are the versions of these films that a whole generation of fans grew up watching. For reasons that have never been entirely clear, the non-special editions of these films have never been available on Blu-ray or streaming through more official channels. Incredibly, the only way for fans to generally live these original versions is to hack them, and because most fans do not want to break the law and even less know where to look, the best version of this legendary science fiction trilogy can Never be legitimately seen by another fan.

Without making you a full aluminum foil hat, we cannot see this as something other than a small power from Disney. Let us look at the original trilogy as expected would have side effects … namely, the fans would begin to make how bad Spin-offs show like Boba Fett’s book And even Kenobi Obi-Wan are really compared to the franchise to its best. But by ensuring that we can only disseminate versions of these films filled with bad CGI, terrible modifications and unnecessary dialogue, Disney helps to cover its current failures with this franchise by involving that such defects have been there from the start.
Unfortunately, the house of the mouse did not realize that to retain the original cuts of Star Wars in the streaming is a bit like great Moff Tarkin bending its power … The more Disney tightens its handle, the more the fans slip through their fingers. After the colossal failure of the following trilogy, the studio should work, above all, on the restoration of the faith and the good will of the Fandom. But the fact that Cinema Box showed us a version of A new hope that Disney + Never Will is proof that Disney will never make fans happy and will continue to make the heated slope of the most loved franchise of Sci-Fi.
At this point, we have to ask: are they really that Surprised, we don’t open the mouth wide and begging more?
