Qualcomm has unveiled its next generation of processors for laptops of play during the conference of game developers (GDC) on Monday. Fortunately, these are not dry specifications; The flea manufacturer has also previewed some of the portable consoles of its partners that new silicon will feed. These include new models from Ayaneo, Onxsugar and Retroid Pocket.
Snapdragon chups
The Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 (the flagship processor) has 30% faster CPU performance and 28% of graphics faster than its predecessor Gen 2.. The new silicon supports QHD + 144Hz screens, Lumen lighting technology from Unreal Engine 5 and Wi-Fi 7.
Meanwhile, the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 can be the mid -range option, but it has the largest trio performance leap: 2.3 times faster CPU and 3.8 times faster GPU speeds than G2 Gen 1. It also supports up to 144 Hz on QHD +displays.
Finally, the G1 Gen 2 is the entry -level processor – not something you would like in a portable hardcore but ideal for strictly diffusion of clouds (devices such as the Cloud Logitech G) or emulation sleeves. It supports up to 120 Hz on FHD +screens.
To come to come
Now for the fun part: Qualcomm’s material partners tease the upcoming devices powered by new silicon. On the other hand, we do not yet have information on prices or companies’ shipping dates for one of these models.
Ayaneo’s S2 pocket uses the high -end chip (G3 Gen 3) and has a 6.3 inch, 2K "ultra-class" display. It has a higher battery capacity than the S pocket and a better cooling system. You won’t have to wait a long time for it because it arrives this month.
Onxsugar 1 sugar is a double -screen foldable console (Nintendo DS style). But it also transforms: you can detach its small screen and (from appearance) attach the controller to the larger screen for a more type factor. It is an interesting configuration, to say the least. It will be available for pre -order in May also performs the high -end Qualcomm processor.
Meanwhile, the Ayaneo Gaming PAD will also work on Snapdragon G3 flagship silicon. This device looks like an iPad Mini with controllers entered on each side and has an 8.3 -inch LCD screen with 2K resolution at 120 Hz. It also includes a "ESPORTS TURBO FAN TURBO" and a "high capacity battery." It will be launched in May.
Finally, the Retroid Pocket Pr Classic uses silicon G1 Gen 2. This retro gaming emulation of the portable boy-esque has an AMOLED 1080 x 1240 screen (up to 500 brightness), 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 5000 mAh battery and active cooling. You can pre-order it this month.
