I’m sharing this week’s Friday Favorites Roundup and praying for all my friends affected by the California wildfires. If you are looking for ways to help, look at this link.
Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope it was great. It was the kids’ first week back at school and although waking up was rough, we were all officially back into routine. We also had a random cold spell and the temperature went from 70 degrees to 30! BLAH.
(The roses have been blooming like crazy with the warmer weather)
One of the highlights of the week was Liv turning 13. I can’t even believe it. They say time flies, and it’s true. She’s always been an introspective, kind, brilliant star, and it’s been so amazing to watch her grow up. She does the BEST impressions, is sarcastic and hilarious, with the sweetest, kindest heart.
We had a family dinner to celebrate and everyone came, and instead of a big party she asked for a trip, so we’re going for that next week!
A giant cheese platter for the festivities:
and my baby’s fever is out of control, but the pilot says we’re done lol.
(Our little niece, Daisy!)
Some recent adventures:
Saffron Indian Cuisine Festival
A hike in Sabino Canyon
and trip to the desert museum with friends.
It’s time for the weekly Faves Friday evening! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, so feel free to shout out something you like in the comments section below.

Fashion + beauty + random:
Another moment of silence for these jeans. They were very inexpensive, great quality and true to size.
So many of you bought this perfect sweater dress! I love it.
This body lotion is the Holy Grail. Liv *borrowed* mine, so I ordered another one.
This sweater is cute for Valentine’s Day. I’m also thinking this one.
Read, watch, listen:
I’m reading this book right now and I’m 100% sucked in.
Fitness, health, life and good nutrition:
I wore a CGM the last few weeks and it was good to check my blood sugar. It’s been a little high lately, so I tried to hack it and call a Nutrisense nutritionist next week to see if they have any ideas. This can be an incredible and empowering tool! If you want to wear a CGM (or book a call to a nutritionist – they are often covered by insurance) use this link and the GINA50 code.
This lasagna soup looks delicious.
The January detox starts this Monday but you can join the fun at any time. My code is FITNESSISTA10 if you would like to participate.
*I’m working on a new program launching in February and I can’t wait to share it with you!! To get first access, make sure you’re on my newsletter list.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a wonderful weekend and see you soon!
xoxo
