Tory Lanez takes credit for streaming community’s success
On Thursday, January 16, Tory Lanez posted a post to his Instagram Stories that got people talking. The Canadian musician shared a clip from PluggedSoundzTV, which featured a clip from his viral “Quarantine Radio” era of 2020. The post features the caption, “It’s 2020 and you stayed indoors and just opened Instagram.”
Roommates, do you all remember when Tory put IG live on lockdown? He brought in celebrity guests like Drake, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Quavo. It was all ambient music, crazy moments and unforgettable cameos.
Now, Tory claims that he is the one who created the massive streaming wave that it is today. The “Say It” singer left a caption on the Quarantine music video: “I crawled so the streaming community could walk #quarantineradio,” Tory wrote with a watery-eyed, single-tear emoji.
