Emergency teams respond to an accident involving a Delta Air Lines plane which arrived at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday from Minneapolis-St. Paul’s international airport, finally landing upside down in the middle of winter conditions.
The FAA indicates that the 80 people aboard the flight 4819, operated by Endeavour Air, were evacuated.
Peel’s paramedical regional services confirmed to CBS News that 15 patients had been transported to the hospital. Among these injuries, one child and two adults are seriously injured. The rest of the injuries are a minor to moderate, officials said.
