India Will seek to continue their domination over England when the two teams materialize in the first ODI of the three game series. The match should be played on Thursday, February 6 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
The momentum is with India after their 4-1 victory in T20is. In the latest T20i, India completely preceded England, beating them 150 points to end the series on a high note.
With a form on their side, India will seek to start the ODI series on a winning note. And while they are preparing for the opening of the series, we take a look at India playing 11 for the 1st Ind vs Eng Odi.

Oukers: Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill should be the openers in India playing 11 for the first ODI. While Yashasvi Jaiswal is also on the team, Gill should take the lead in front of him.
Gill had opened the sleeves for India during their last ODI assignment which was the series in Sri Lanka and is likely to associate with Rohit at the top of the order.
However, with Jaiswal waiting in the wings, Gill just can’t afford too many bad outings with the bat. With the Champions Trophy which was also to take place later this month, Gill would like to make the most of his chances in the next series.
On the other hand, Rohit will be eager to lead the front team. He has undergone strong pressure for his poor sticks in the stick lately and will be desperate to deliver with the bat against England.
After failing to impress in the series of tests against New Zealand and Australia, Rohit recently underperformed in the Ranji trophy.

Like Rohit Sharma, the former skipper of India Virat Kohli is also under immense pressure. Playing for Delhi against the railways, the right -wing drummer was absent for only 6 points.
While Kohli is still an important member of India playing 11, he cannot afford many deadlines now, because the call to drop him has been increased lately.
The other medium -decking drummers in India playing 11 for the first ODI should be KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. Rahul impressed all with his striker in Australia and will watch another good outing in the next series.
