Jose Mourinho launched a legal request for damages against Galatasaray due to “the attack on personal rights” of the Fenerbahce coach.
Mourinho triggered the controversy after the draw on Monday between the teams after having said that the staff of Gala coaches “jumped like monkeys” to try to reserve the defender of Fener Yusuf Akcicek.
This exasperated gala which threatened criminal procedures against Mourinho after affirming that he had used an “inhuman rhetoric”.
In response, Mourinho said today that he would ask for damages of 1,907 million Turkish LIRA (Fenerbahce was created in 1907) against the rivals of Istanbul de Fener.
A declaration from Fener can be read as follows: “We would like to announce to the public that a trial for non-pecuniary damages of 1,907,000 LIRA Turkish has been deposited against Galatasaray Sports Club by Jose Mourinho through the lawyers of Fenerbahçe Sports Club because of the attack on the personal rights of our technical director Jose Mourinho.”
Former Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba, who played Mourinho in Chelsea, urged his former club to drop their case and described the 62 -year -old man as his “father”.
Mourinho sentenced to a fine and the ban on four games
The TFF prohibited Mourinho for four games yesterday and inflicted a fine of £ 35,000 after declaring that he had come to the referees’ room after the match and directed “derogatory and offensive statements” to the fourth official, which was Turkish.
It is said that the former Chelsea boss “accused Turkish football of chaos and troubles with insulting and offensive statements towards the Turkish football community and all Turkish referees”.

Consequently, a fine of 1.5 million TL (£ 32,655) was imposed alongside another ban on two games.
Fenerbahce is six points behind Galatasaray at the top of the Turkish Turkish table with 12 games to do for each team.
