Meta Platforms Inc. hired four notable researchers ins of OpenAi artificial intelligence, accelerating a hiring wave for her superintendent group.
Friday, the company signed on Jiahui Yu, Shuchao Bi, Shengjia Zhao and Hongyu Ren, according to people who know the question, who refused to be named discussing unannounced hires. They join several other leaders of the AI industry, including Daniel Gross and Nat Friedman, heading for the new team of Alexandr Wang at the social networks giant.

In Openai, Yu managed the perception team, while Bi, Zhao and Ren were also notable researchers from the company. Departures underline the assembly competition of talents in the generative landscape of the AI, because the key players are attracted by hiring packages of several million dollars.
None of the researchers responded to requests for comments. Meta refused to comment and Openai did not immediately respond to a request for comments sent outside regular work hours. The information reported the hires earlier on Saturday.
