Arsenal striker Kai Havertz was excluded for the rest of the season, according to The Athletic.
Havertz would have snatched hamstrings from the team’s mid-season training camp in Dubai and will not be available for the rest of the campaign.
The news will be a bitter blow for the boss of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, who must now try to fill the gap on the leaders of the Premier League Liverpool without a recognized center.
Havertz fulfilled the role of a large part of the season, although it was given in the midfield when Gabriel Jesus was preferred in attack.

However, the Brazilian undergoing an injury to the previous cross ligament last month, Havertz was again deployed above the field with mixed results.
The German international scored 15 goals and added five assists in 34 matches in all competitions this season, but also missed 15 major chances in the Premier League, the third alongside Nicolas Jackson de Chelsea and behind Erling Haaland from Manchester City (18 ) and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins (19).
Watkins was the subject of an offer of 60 million pounds sterling from Arsenal towards the end of the transfer window, but Villa chose to keep the international in England and sell Jhon Duran on the Saudi side al-Nassr .

Arsenal suffered from injury in attack areas all season.
The English winger Bukayo Saka joined the training in Dubai, but should not play before March while Gabriel Martinelli also released for a month with a problem of the hamstrings.
Arsenal is second in the Premier League, six points behind Liverpool who play their game by hand at Merseyside Rivals Everton this evening.
