The Hopes of Barcelona from a strong first stage in Lisbon received a hard blow after Pau Cubarsi received a straight red card in their draw with Benfica.
Cubarsi was dismissed with only twenty minutes disappeared after being tried for having denied a goal of scorer as a man’s danger of Benfica, Vangelis Pavlidis, who broke out.
At halftime, however, the score remained safely.
It was far from the beginning of the boss of Barcelona, Hansi Flick would have hoped, because Liga leaders faced a potentially nervous evening inside a noisy Da Estadio.

The previous meeting between the two parties in the league phase in January finished 5-4 at the Flick team after an exciting competition.
Benfica will feel the opportunity to take revenge while increasing their chances of progressing to the last eight before a second row confrontation at the Nou camp next week.
The Portuguese part is notoriously strong in front of their fans at home and is currently on an impressive race for eight undefeated games in all competitions.
They beat Monaco 4-3 in aggregate in the eliminations of the league phase to reach the Channel of 16.
