Things quickly take a turn when the manager of the institute responds by “Call me dear”, followed by the revelation of heavy basic costs of 74,950 ₹ – exceeded at 60,950 ₹ under a package called “Lumspum”.
The reaction of the aspiring was instantaneous – an exasperated “Oh God” followed by a polished drop, citing budgetary constraints. The conversation took a cheeky turn when the representative joked: “Expensive if you think it is high costs, then which will pay the costs of the IIM”, and added that the admission depended not only on the costs but the proven results.
The separation of the aspirant – “I can take a loan for the IIM, but I will not take a loan for online coaching lol” – no doubt about its position.

Some users have castigated the institute’s approach, arguing that the real conversation should focus on the return on investment. Others shared personal experiences of negotiating costs, “they even negotiate up to 30 km. I had paid 28k last year for the career launcher. I cannot disclose the branch. I started 50 km, then I had a centile cat of 94.5K last year, so the base that had a good Nego and closed at 28k.”
