Be sure to read how we test mattresses. For a list like this, we wanted to keep several things in mind when choosing the hundreds of beds we tested.
Feel
We wanted to find beds that everyone generally finds comfortable. Some sleepers like a sensation of classic and dense memory, and others do not like. Some people like super responsive latex beds or even the unique feeling of a purple mattress, and others not. The beds we have chosen have more than one “safe” feeling that we think that anyone who sleeps on them will probably like, and a mattress of friends is not necessarily for a specific person who might want a specific feeling.
Firmness
We wanted all the beds to this list to be around a means on the firmness scale because they generally work well, or at least OK for all sleep positions. Whether your guest is a back of the back, stomach, side or combination, none of these beds should not cause them ailments and pain.
Price
Buying a mattress for yourself that you spend (hopefully) eight hours a day sleeping can already be a considerable investment, so a mattress on which guests may not be expensive. This is why we tried to select beds more affordable than the average online mattress.
Sustainability
We cannot lie on the mattress every day for years, so it is difficult to say exactly how long will last each bed. Based on several factors, such as construction, we have an idea of the duration of the duration of a bed. The average lifespan of a mattress is seven to 10 years. For this list, sustainability was less worrying because a bed of friends will probably not be slept every night.
