King Charles III was briefly hospitalized in the middle of his treatment against cancer in progress, but has since resumed his functions.
According to information, the British monarch had to be checked due to the side effects of his treatment.

The Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles had been taken to hospital due to the temporary side effects of his treatment against cancer in progress.
A spokesperson said: “After a planned medical treatment and in progress for cancer this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects which required a short period of observation at the hospital”.
They added that as a precaution on medical advice, “His Majesty’s afternoon commitments were therefore postponed.”
“His Majesty would like to apologize to all those who can be embarrassed or disappointed accordingly,” continued the press release, by Page six.
Since his diagnosis of cancer last year, his schedule has been carefully planned in coordination with his doctors to ensure that his health remains absolute priority.

The king hopes that his commitments can be “reprogrammed” after his visit to the hospital

When Charles returned to Clarence House after his short stay in hospital, he was confirmed that the king was in good condition, with a spokesman sharing that he intended to continue his duty as soon as possible.
“His Majesty was to receive skills titles from the ambassadors of three different nations this afternoon,” said the spokesman, according to The guardian. “Tomorrow, he had to undertake four public commitments in Birmingham and is very disappointed to miss them on this occasion.”
