One of the reasons why the kind of horror is often expired is that the annoyed directors have lacked new ways to surprise us. After all, how scary can something be scary when you can always guess everything that will happen? If you want frightening twists of a man, you can Never Predict fully, you are lucky: Mr. Night Shyamalan’s Trap is now streaming on Netflix.
Netflix

Before broadcasting Trap On Netflix, you should know that he has a deliciously simplified plot involving a man taking his daughter to a concert featuring his favorite singer. Unfortunately, the whole event is a massive police operation intended to trap a ruthless serial killer. And as this killer is being dear old dad, he passes the rest of the film trying to escape the authorities while retaining the charming charming of the prince who has kept everyone has been fooled for so long.
Trap To a casting greater than other horror films on Netflix, starting with the main actor Josh Hartnett, (probably better known for Blackhawk And Lucky number Slevin). He also features Ariel Donoghue, who is best known for the Back And the television show Wolf like me. Alion Pills Alison (better known Scott Pilgrim against the world And Midnight in Paris) and Hayley Mills (better known for Bliss and the original The parents’ trap).
Of course, if you plan to look Trap On Netflix, it’s probably because you are already a fan of the director M. Night Shyamalan. He is the horror icon behind films such as The sixth sense And SignsAnd this film continues its tradition to shoot the frightening genre on your ear. For better or for worse, Trap is also a family affair, with the evening of Shyamalan’s daughter, the Saleka Shyamalan evening playing the musical superstar which is obsessed with the own girl on the screen of Hartnett.

Against a budget of $ 30 million, Trap obtained a ticketing of $ 83.6 million long before hitting Netflix. It is a healthy beneficiary margin, which shows why horror is always the most reliable cinematographic genre in terms of ticket sales. That being said, there is currently no plan for a suite, although fans of Unbreakable Know that Shyamalan is not afraid to return to old franchises when the fans expect the least.
On rotten tomatoes, Trap has a critical note of 57%. Critics have generally praised the performance of Joshua Hartnett, but noted that the ironic tone of the film could be diligent to the general public. As for the general public, the film has a popcornmeter note of 65%, which means that occasional moviegoers loved this unconventional horror film more than criticism.
Now, I have to approach a part of the writing on the wall … The writing even more obvious than the cheese dialogue of Shyamalan. The film may have been a success at the box office, but it was a failure with criticism and barely a blow on the radar of fans. Why, then, should you check TrapA Netflix film in the middle of the road to a director who could very well exceed his peak?

First of all, it is worth it to be broadcast Trap On Netflix simply for Hartnett’s performance: his amoral character appears surprisingly sympathetic, and it’s fun to watch this horror king (seriously, go and see how GOOD This man was in The faculty) Return to its gender roots. It is just to say that Hartnett raises the writing of the film and even helps to display some of the difficult points of the script. This makes it possible to cancel the occasional songs of Shyamalan’s narrative excess, to found improbable scenarios in the as improbable charm of Hartnett.
And speaking of shyamalan, Trap It is worth checking Netflix for anyone (like me) fell in love with the director’s signature style. He laughs at his narrative format “What a Twist”, but what makes Trap It should be noted that it twists all our notion of how to tell scary stories. It is a reduced horror film in a thriller with just a pinch of action film, and all this is added to something that looks like any other film in any genre
Do you want to find Trap As new and charming as I am when you broadcast it on Netflix, or will this film Shymalan make you wish that you are already dead? You will not know before broadcasting it for yourself. Just be ready to pronounce “I see dead” again and again before the credits roll on this unpredictable horror film.
