Arsenal is ready for a crucial summer transfer window, their main objective being the signing of a high -level attacker to strengthen the team of Mikel Arteta.
Despite the favorites for the title of Premier League, the Gunners find themselves 12 points behind the leaders of the Liverpool League.
A series of injuries to key attackers – including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz – have considerably hampered the performances of Arsenal this season.
The club’s inability to strengthen their attack in January could prove to be expensive in pursuing the title, which makes the summer window even more vital.
Among the many attackers linked to Arsenal, Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko have become the best targets.
However, SESKO seems to be the most realistic option, with recent reports suggesting that it is sold for moving in northern London.
Keown: Arsenal has an agreement for a new wrapped attacker
The former defender of Arsenal and TNT sports expert, Martin Keown, suggested that the club may have already concluded an agreement for a new striker.
Speaking on TNT SPORTSKeown has speculated:
“I would say that there has already been a player bought and that it is already done from a point of view of Arsenal. They will no longer make this error.”

Despite Keown’s claims, it is unlikely that the club has already obtained a transfer given the behind the scenes developments concerning the new sports director. Andre Berta should be appointed but has not yet been officially confirmed.
But, if Keown’s statements are true, it is likely that the agreed agreement will be with SESKO rather than Isak. The president of Newcastle would have no intention of separating from his favorite player and wishes to rely on his triumph of the League Cup.
Sesko, on the other hand, was strongly linked to a move to the Northern London club from the last transfer window.
This decision did not occur when the player decided to stay for another season, but wants to move away this summer.
The 21 -year -old Slovenian international experienced a rapid increase through the Red Bull football system, excelling to Red Bull Salzburg before moving to RB Leipzig in 2023.
His performances in Germany were impressive, scoring 18 goals in his first season and continuing his good shape with 17 goals and six assists in 36 appearances.
Standing at 6 feet 5 inches, Sesko offers a physical presence that is currently lacking. His mixture of technical skills, strength and finishing capacity makes him an ideal candidate to direct the attack by Arteta.
