It’s the biggest Hollywood night! The 2025 Oscars occur while I type these words and, most likely, as you read them. The prices are given and all the expectations, surprises and the great moments that accompany the Oscars take place. We have a complete list of Oscar winners so that you can consult here. Conan O’Brien organizes this year’s ceremony, with a certain number of different presenters amounts on stage. But who is the advertiser of the event tonight? And why does it seem so familiar?
This voice that you hear between the awards and before commercial breaks belongs to no other than Nick Offerman. Many viewers probably know him better like Ron Swanson of the beloved sitcom “Parks and Recreation”. His voice is at the very least distinct, and those who organized the ceremony decided that he would be the right man to help add a little something to the words that had to say to help make the show move. It is a difficult choice to challenge.
O’Brien is a natural host and presenter. Offerman, meanwhile, has one of those voices that comforts people. He has also become an actor of a beloved character, appearing in everything, from the “LEGO film” to “Bad Times at the El Royale”. It looks like the ideal way to honor it and help entertain viewers. He’s a win-win.
Nick Offerman lends his silky voice to the Oscars
Suppose that one has not looked at “Parks and Rec” or one of the other projects that have been mentioned so far. Where could we recognize the offerman voice? Although we cannot reasonably review all of its IMDB page, one of its greatest roles recently came as Bill in “The Last of Us” by HBO, a role that brought him an Emmy. Some of his other television roles to note include “Devs”, “Pam & Tommy” and “A League off”.
On the big screen, Offerman lent his talents to a wide variety of projects. Last year, he appeared as president of the “civil war” of Alex Garland in wartime. Some of his other notable film credits include “Dumb Money”, “Dicks: The Musical”, “Sing 2” and “The Founder”, among others. So no, you’re not crazy – it’s a voice that deserves to be recognized.
Offerman also has several upcoming projects, including a role in “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” and the new film “Smurfs”, among others.
