Ola Aina will miss the trip from Nottingham Forest to Aston Villa on Saturday – offering a headache to the Nuno Espirito Santo boss, which is less options in rear positions.
Aina underwent a calf injury during the 1-0 Tuesday evening victory against Manchester United at the City Ground and was excluded from the confrontation at Villa Park.
We don’t think we are a serious setback, and Nuno suggested that the defender hitherto always present could come back for the match against Everton on April 12.
The Portuguese said: “It is always difficult when it is a calf injury, we have to give it time. We do not have an exact calendar, this is his ability to recover.
“Some players take more time, others less. We will evaluate it. He will certainly be absent for Villa and for Everton, he will be a doubt. [before the end of the season].
“He had the scan and he will go out for a while. It’s a blow.

Forest of files
Forest now has a problem backwards with Alex Moreno ineligible to face Villa, his parent club and Eric Moreira is not completely fit.
“”[Moreno] is not available to play against villa, “added Nuno.” We will have to find other solutions. He did well when he came [against United]. But he cannot play against Villa.
“Moreira was injured with the German national team under 19. It has been out for two or three weeks now. He returns to the group now with individual sessions. For this game, he will also be very tight for him.
“With Ola to go out, we will try to find solutions to the problems we have. The absence of Ola is large and we will miss it but we must find solutions.
“Our training sessions are very light, in terms of loading. We will watch tomorrow and try to find a solution. “

Nuno to wait on wood
Aina was one of Forest’s most remarkable players in a remarkable season that could end with the qualification for the Champions League next season.
Another striker Chris Wood, who could come back on weekends after injuring a hip in international service with New Zealand.
Nuno said about the former man of Leeds and Newcastle: “We assess him. It will be day after day. I hope that tomorrow will be better and that he continues to improve.”
The victory against United, who came thanks to the wonderful solo goal of Anthony Elaga, saw Forest strengthen their grip in third place in the Premier League.
