Tina Fey And Amy Poehler have become an emblematic duo because of their collaborations on Snl,, Wicked girlsand co-hut the Golden Globes. Baby Mum is one of the rare films in which they played together, and their chemistry raises him to the greatness of comedy. Fey plays the role of Kate, a motivated business woman who decides at the end of the thirties that she wants to have a baby but finds that she is unlikely to be successful with IVF. Poehler plays Angie, an immature slacker who agrees to become a substitution for Kate’s baby.
When Angie breaks with her sleeveless boyfriend (Dax Shepard), she ends up moving with Kate. Despite their confronted personalities, the two women end up helping themselves to grow – Kate learns to relax and be more stimulating, while Angie learns to be more responsible. Watching these two brilliant actors go through delivery lessons and other parental stages together is reliably hilarious.
If you are a parent or about to become one, this film is a must. But if you have already had a best friend who drives you crazy (and who hasn’t done it?) You will also find something to which you are linked here.
