“Thank you very much to everyone. #1 on the iTunes chart, oh my God,” Montag shared via an Instagram Story on Saturday, January 11. “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and for rallying behind us in this devastating time and making it such a blessing.”
Montag’s Album Superficialreleased in January 2010, topped the iTunes album chart ahead of Bad bunnyDeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS of and the Wicked soundtrack of the film. The album’s title track also ranked #1 ahead of ROSÉ and Bruno Mars‘ “APT” and other songs. Montag’s song “I’ll Do It” also came in at number 7.
“Thank you for helping to support us, for helping us rebuild, for encouraging us, for giving us that hope and that faith and that enthusiasm in such a dark, dark time,” Montag continued. “No. 1, ahhh! Oh my God, I can’t believe it. And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. So the timing is just crazy. This is so crazy, thank you…”
